About the Artist

Keyhan Modaressi was born in Tehran, Iran to an average income family. His father was a mathematics professor and his mother worked at the local hospital. In middle school a particular drawing inspired him to learn to paint and sketch and motivated him to aspire to attend Art School.

After about five years, having attained a Fine Arts Degree, Keyhan’s art professor suggested they work together. This allowed Keyhan to teach art classes and share his dedication to fine art with his students.

During the war he was forced to leave his home country. Travelling to many countries, Keyhan finally settled in British Columbia, Canada, and opened an Art Gallery in Kelowna, BC.
